Our Name
/ˈɑːr.keɪ/ · noun · from Ancient Greek ἀρχή
“A beginning. An origin. The first principle from which all else follows.”
We took our name from the Greek idea of the arché — the foundation beneath every great thing. Rooted in Africa and an enduring hunger for knowledge, we build that foundation in young speakers: clear thought, courageous voice, and character that outlasts any debate.
